California Photo Diary

First of all, happy new year! I hope you all had a fabulous holiday season! My last week of 2011 was spent exploring the beauty that is California. After the 5 day trip, I brought home with me great memories, two new pairs of shoes, some new clothes, a new bag (not a satchel, but something equally as beautiful!), and 850 photos. Yes, 850 photos. I knew I took a lot of photos, but I didn’t realize it was that many! I haven’t taken photos of my purchases yet, but I’ll be sure to share them in a post later on. For now, enjoy these!

3 food joints I highly recommend for if you are ever in the LA area:

1. Botegga Louie – I tried the half/half Clam and Burrata Pizza and Portabella Mushroom Fries, photographed above.

2. Urth Caffe – I tried the Spanish Latte and Matcha Green Tea Latte. Both so good.

3. Honey Pig in Koreatown – So good I went twice in 5 days. A must-try! Just look at those last three photos…

Wow, you made it to the end of this long post. THANK YOU for reading, and I look forward to sharing more with you on Silk and Satchels this year!

@Mia Thank you and omigosh you finally commented! <3 We loved the animal style at In n Out! I use this cam here: http://bit.ly/t5MPtH Many have asked and commented on the quality of the pics, so I guess I made a good choice! It’s been awesome so far, considering it’s not really a DSLR :)
