This past weekend, I attended the grand opening party of 0755 Restaurant & Lounge. A few colleagues and I went because our company was sponsoring the event. I’ll be clear now, though, that this is not a sponsored post. I snapped some photos of the food and venue, and just want to share with you all a short and sweet review on my experience.

And let’s be real – I know there are men and women out there who have not yet made dinner plans for Valentine’s Day today, so if this post can help at least one person out, I’ll be happy!
The concept of the restaurant is “East meets West”. Located in Richmond, BC, inside a plaza mall with primarily Asian restaurants and vendors, 0755 Restaurant & Lounge is very modernly furnished, and their menu has a lot of western influence. The grand opening party was complete with a fashion show and a live band, but even on regular days, I’ve been told that the ambiance is upbeat and there’s a DJ on the weekends, playing a mix of top 40′s and house. It’s one of those places where you can eat dinner and still lounge around after for drinks and live music (they also have an open area that looks like it could be a dance floor).

Grilled Oyster Mushrooms

Sirloin Steak

Steamed fresh mussels (in a spicy lemon grass sauce)
You’re probably wondering about the food. Did it taste as good as it looks? The answer – YES. Overall, I thought the food was delicious. Between my colleagues and I, we sampled about 10 different dishes, and they were all very tasty.
With good food (reasonably priced between $9 – $16 per dish) and good music, located inside a great looking venue, I’d recommend checking it out for yourself.
Aaaaand…Happy Valentine’s Day! Remember to shower yourselves with pink things, red things, and sweet things! Have an amazing day!
Thank you for reading!
